History
Rimon was founded in 2008 in San Francisco, CA. Its founding partners, Michael Moradzadeh and Yaacov Silberman, met in 2004 while working as corporate attorneys at white shoe firm Ropes & Gray. Envisioning a new firm structure with more technology, and less bureaucracy and hierarchy, Moradzadeh and Silberman left the firm to develop Rimon. Through connections in Israel, the firm was able to begin its life with an international presence.

Structure and compensation model
Rimon operates using a spherical model, as opposed to the "pyramid model" of the traditional law firm or the flat model of most virtual firms. The firm has approximately a 5-1 ratio of partners to associates.
Rimon uses an unconventional compensation structure whereby attorneys set their own billing rate with each client and get paid for the work they do.
